Allu Arjun received relief in the Sandhya theatre stampede case, as the court granted him regular bail on Friday.
Allu Arjun, listed as A11, was initially on interim bail granted by the High Court, which directed him to approach the Nampally Court for regular bail. Following these instructions he sought regular bail.
The hearing took place on December 30th but the judgment was postponed to January 3rd 2025.
During the proceedings Allu Arjun’s lawyers argued that he had no connection to the stampede at Sandhya Theatre which tragically resulted in the death of his fan Revathi. Meanwhile the Chikkadpally Police opposed the bail request urging the court not to grant it.
After considering arguments from both sides the court approved Arjun’s regular bail and instructed him to cooperate with the police during the investigation.
